Large, expensive dryers are no longer required for curing Excalibur’s Aquatex or Duratex Water-Based Inks with the addition of Aquafix Self-Curing Additive. Simply add 2% by volume of Aquafix to any colour and prints will fully cure on their own after 72 hours without running the print through a curing oven. Although heat is not required prints may be run through the dryer and stacked thus saving space of laying each substrate out individually  The prints will continue to cure fully curing after 72 hours and can be washed with confidence.  Mix only the amount required that can be used within a four hour period.

If an oven with a long curing chamber is used where prints can reach 320° F/160° C for 90 seconds, an addition of 1% by volume of Aquafix will greatly increase washability of prints.

Caution:  Always test finished prints for curing, adhesion, opacity, and desired look prior to beginning full production runs. Lancer Group International cannot guarantee the results or back claims that this additive will perform as stated if Aquafix is mixed into a competitive water-based ink brand or in any other ink besides Excalibur’s Aquatex or Duratex.
