The HydroTrans Reflective Transfer System is a two-part, PVC-free transfer system containing a silver and white water-based reflective ink. Transfers made with this ink produce reflective prints that are more durable and more reflective than many plastisol versions. Garments transferred with HydroTrans Reflective transfers will provide higher visibility in for joggers, cyclists or construction workers who wear the garment in low-light situations. Prints made with this ink are not recognized by insurance companies as their reflectivity does not meet safety standards for reduced rates. This is a two-part ink system, please pay close attention to mixing instructions below.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Ideal Fabric: Cotton / Poly Cotton Blends, or 100% Polyester.

Screen Mesh: 83-125/inch (32T-48Tcm).

Squeegee: Medium Durometer (70) or Triple Durometer (90/70/90) is recommended.

Stencil: Any emulsion compatible with water-based inks.

Curing: Full Cure 280°F – 330°F (137°C – 165°C).

Paper: PET Film

Pigment Loading: N/A

Additives: AquaFix Additive 5%. AquaLife Retarder 10%.

Storage: 60°F – 90°F (30°C – 45°C). Lids closed tightly.

Ink Cleanup: Warm water immediatly after printing and use Enviro Series 2000 Green or Enviro Series TR Blend for hard spots.

CAUTION

Always test finished prints for curing, adhesion and desired look prior to beginning full production runs. Lancer Group International cannot guarantee the results or back claims that this mixed ink will test phthalate-free if any additive other than an additive manufactured by Lancer Group International is used to modify this ink. Test results by a third-party laboratory verifying all components used to produce this ink are phthalate-free and lead-free are available upon request.
