998 Series Sublimation Litho Transfer Inks
Excalibur’s 998 Series is a four color process sublimation inks for high speed lithographic textile printing. The inks produce sublimation litho heat transfers are printed with 998 Inks on high speed lithographic presses. The result is brilliant designs ready to be applied to a number of different specially coated substrates. This type of transfer works well on polyester blend fabrics such as T-Shirts, mouse pads, pennants, and specially coated materials including ceramic, wood, plastic and metal.
960PF Series Hot-Peel Transfer Ink
960PF Series Hot-Peel transfer inks have been formulated to produce high-opacity transfers when the ink is used in combination with coated transfer papers. Because the coating on the paper releases the entire ink film is transferred to the garment. Prints will be very opaque while still maintaining a soft feel on the garment. All 960PF Series inks contain a built-in powder to ensure adhesion and durability of the transferred print. Available in over 30 standard colours, 8 fluorescent colours, a ready-for-use colour mixing system as well as a base and pigment colour mixing system. The 960PF Series is also available in 19 special-effects inks ranging from glitters, metallics and glow in the dark.
900PF Series Hot-Split Transfer Ink
Excalibur’s900PF and 950PF Series are both hot-split transfer inks that when used in conjunction with the appropriate hot-split transfer paper splits during the heat transfer application process allowing 75-80% of the ink to transfer to the shirt producing a soft, opaque print with a surface texture that simulates a direct print. The 900PF Series is formulated for white or light-coloured shirts while the 950PF Series produces opaque prints that easily cover dark backgrounds. A ready-for-use colour mixing system containing 11 components as well as a base and pigment colour mixing system is available to produce PANTONE© and custom colours. The 900PF Series is also available in 19 special-effects inks ranging from glitters, metallics and glow in the dark.

Litho Transfer System (996PF, 554PF, 555PF & 556PF)
Excalibur’s Lithographic Transfer System consists of four lithographic ink colours (996PF) that can be printed on lithographic presses allowing printers the ability to produce high-speed and finely detailed designs on lithographic presses. After the litho inks have been printed they must be backed with the appropriate Litho Back-up Plastisol to be transferred to the garment. 554PF Clear is utilized on white fabrics where opacity or bleed-resistance is not an issue. Transfers for garments of any colour made of 100% cotton can be backed with 555PF White to ensure opacity. 556PF Low-Bleed White backs up the ink and provides opacity as well as fighting bleed resistance on poly/cotton/blends.
The Duratex® PVC / Phthalate Free Heat Transfer System
Duratex is a water-based PVC-free heat transfer system designed for producing cold peel screen printed heat transfers or to be used as a backing for litho-printed transfers. It contains no solvents and is completely non-phthalate. Duratex transfers will adhere to most fabrics including many constructed of nylon and is an ideal choice for producing tagless labels. The Duratex Heat Transfer System is available in a wide range of colours as well as in the ColorPRO® Color Matching System to produce Pantone© simulations or custom colours. An adhesive system such as C-57 Hot Melt Power or DX1245 Printable Adhesive should be used in combination with Duratex inks for ultimate adhesion and wash fastness of finished prints.

Excalibur’s 951PF and 961PF ColourPro are high-opacity colour mixing systems that simulates Pantone® colours and custom shades for producing hot-split and hot-peel transfers. It consists of 11 standard ready-for-use colours and five additional components called Boosters. Booster Colours are very intense shades of Yellow, Red, Blue and Green. When added in increments between 5%-40% they increase the brightness and colour accuracy of specific colours. Most generally, the colours in the mixing formulas that need boosting are any colours that do not contain white. These colours are normally the three colours located in the center of each page in the Pantone® “C” Formula Guide. All Pantone® colour formulas contained in the ColourPro Software that will benefit in accuracy with the addition of Booster Colours are presently being updated and added to the software as they are formulated.
