HOT PEEL TRANSFER SYSTEM

Transfer Paper: T75, T105, Tullis CP, or Transfilm clear film should be used for Litho prints. For screen printed transfers, it is recommended to use Tullis HS, Ultrastrip, or Transfilm for hot and cold peel applications.

Curing: Evolution must fully cure on paper 320°-350°F (160°-177°C). Prints must be cured between colors.

Adhesive Systems: C57 Hot Melt Powder and/or 6841 Evolution Printable Adhesive.

C57 powder can be applied to the wet ink and then heat cured at 320°-350°F (160°-177°C).

Evolution 6841Printable Adhesive should be screen printed over the dried ink. It
should overlap the print to prevent the edges from lifting and then heat cured at
320°-350°F (160°-177°C).

For multi color screen printing transfers, it is recommended to overprint the entire design with 6841 Printable Adhesive. For extra wash fastness, sprinkle C57 powder adhesive over the wet 6841Printable Adhesive, then cure through a dryer.

SPOT COLOR TRANSFERS

Printing: Spot colors are printed through 80 to 160 mesh/inch (32 to 64/cm) depending on the level of opacity required and cured at (320°-350°F)160°-177°C). After the design is printed, the entire area must be overprinted with 6841 Printable Adhesive and cured at 320°-350°F(160°-177°C). It is recommended that the 6841 Printable Adhesive overlaps the image to ensure complete coverage.

C57 may be applied on 1 color designs and then heat cured at 320°-350°F (160°-177°C). Multi color prints must be cured between colors. After printing, adhesive must be applied (See
“Adhesive Systems” for more info.)

LITHO TRANSFERS:

Offset or Litho print using Lancer’s 996 Litho Transfer Four Color Process inks. After Offset or Litho printing, Evolution series 6555 white backing is applied by screen printing. For proper adhesion to fabric an adhesive must be used. C57 Hot Melt powder can be applied to the wet 6555 backing and then cured through a dryer 320°-350°F (160°-177°C).
